Jerry has survived and relocvated to the oposite corner of the dorway!
Today we're going into the town to register with the police, find some more local clothing, get money our and find an internet spot which is where I'm at now (obviously!). We didn't get out till much later than we planned because Celine was waiting for a guy who was supposed to turn up at 9 but got here at about 12! Both Maddy and I have bought 2 salwar kamises (I think that's what they're called!), and then met Celine's sister and her husband who were both very nice. We're on our way back now. Sorry I haven't been able to upload photos yet, but hopefully I'll get the opportunity soon. Boy its varm in here!
Anyway I think I better go now Celine's waiting for us upstairs.

Just logged on on my return from work and lovely to hear all your news! Can't thank Celine enough for all her kindness and sensitiviy to your needs- bless her for getting you fridge etc. Also thrilled to hear that Jerry survived - Maddy, put the insect repellant away! Looking forward to pictures of you both in local dress - gorgeous! Souncs like you have a lovely week ahead of you and your stay will be a wonderful experience - maybe you'll even learn to cope with spiders??
Busy day at school today as Val has broken her arm and have supply teacher in at moment. A case of the old and almost blind leading the blind.

Hi hun, been a lovely day here. Took dad out for a walk to Birkrigg, down to the beach and back up and home slipping in for a pint at Bradylls Arms! I know I am going to regret not getting on with the garden but too lovely a day to work whilst g'dad here.
George had great time at camp and his team apparently won the shooting competition. All a bit tired now.
Hope you both keeping well and busy. Where do you spend most of your time when you are up, dressed and have eaten breakfast (and all the other hundreds of meals!)? Do you mix with the women in the shelter or do you stay in your flat?
