Day 17 ... so far!

Not having the best start to the day! Smashed a cereal bowl and broke the handle on the mosquito net window in the bathroom!
Spent the first hour of Alfonz's lesson having about the differences between marriage etc. in England and India. It seems that the vast majority of marriages in India are arranged. And if the childern go against the parents wishes they are cut off! Also appears the average age for women to get married is 18-21 whilst for men it's 22-25 !!!!
We also got onto discussing the politics of both countries, one of the men there thoughtthat having one "good' man would be better than having a democracy. I guess we've both had different experiences of different political structures.

Hi hun, hope you had a better start to day and no more bowls broken!
Had lovely morning walk, kids great at school -they really are a gorgeous year 1! Went to see our Mrs. Newby this p.m. as think she's been feeling a bit low, still very uncomfortable and unable to sleep well but hopefully things will start improving over next few weeks. Had a little chat about possibilities for your teaching over huge slabs of lemon drizzle cake from Hot Mango! George had rugby tonight and came home from Boys Brigade last night saying he's going to start his Duke of Edinburgh award!!! Feeling very proud of him though stress levels rising!
Thinking about you lots hun, as is OCD cyclist...every time she looks at toilet roll apparently!!! Looking forward to speaking to you at the weekend. Lots of love,
Mumms XX
p.s. Can you get copy of your email letter off to Science Museum as I see you have the address in you drafts section of Hotmail site.
