Day 23 (14th Oct)

Went to the gym this morning!!!!!!!! Sat and had breakfast at the same time as we're usually waking up at!
We managed to ask Celine to photocopy us some of mums's phonics sheets for us to use in the day care 'lesson'. So we took those along with us after Alfonz's lesson. It was only Ashish.k, Asha Mariya and Jewel (the young boy who knows a few words of English) but we had fun colouring in the sheets with crayons! We tried to keep repeating words beginning with the phoneem (S) and getting them to think of words that began and had S in them. Think some of it sunk in!
We did a poster of Celine in Bridget and Ann Mary's lesson and had a good giggle later on when we showed her them!

Gosh Sarah, THE GYM!!! You will be fit for a few cold winter morning bike rides when you get back! High performance underwear are back on now!Had lovely walk in late afternoon winter sun with you mum yesterday -saw some geese (which made your mum happy). MD tried to attack a spaniel. He has been working out too with our lodger who can run for ever!! As a result his limp is coming back a bit more but we'll rest him next week. Your mum and dad are coming for dinner tomorrow eve as your mum has no children to keep her busy at the moment and we have to keep her out of mischief. Good to hear the teaching is going well.

Hi hun,
So pleased you had a good weekend with Victoria and friends and enjoyed your trip to Kerala with Celine. I definitely like the sound of Celine, I could imagine her being a little mischievous - but then it takes someone with a lot of courage, character and determination to achieve what she has over the years!
Got Bon out up Gummers How WITH dad this morning and we were just walking down and round the back when had a call on my mob...from Smee! Rushed back for a brief visit as always so lovely to see them. Joe and Yas gorgeous! I know I keep harping on but it doesn't seem so long ago that you were all so little - you've all grown into such lovely young people, long may it continue! O.k. I've stopped now!
Very cold here now and snow on the top of Old Man. George is now in North Wales and panic over as new accomodation o.k. after all and they DO have electricity! Had a 'good night' text from him at 23.45 last night!!!!
Looking forward to a meal with A's tomorrow. Sharon told you about our walk. Autumn colours fab here at the moment especially in the evening sun. Had trip out to candle factory with Val Monday which was lovely and she much brighter and getting a lot more movement though thinking of returning a little sooner than will actually be feasible I think!!!
Well, s'pose I'd better crack on! Need to get into school tomorrow really as some jobs to get done before George comes home and the weekend starts. Pete coming Friday too!
Love you and miss you lots,
Godbless, XXX

Ah, fab, just put my sunglasses away as had an email from Lin with promised photo of her in the great run - yes, complete with wig! Absolutely fantastic! Would send it on, if I knew how, if you haven't already seen it. Ziggy Stardust, eat you're heart out!.....You probably don't know who that is?
Had lovely, fun, relaxing meal and evening with A's last night. Sharon trying to dish up around a very excited MD and his lodger pal,Greer running round looking after everyone... and sitting with Henry was just like having George home!....Well o.k. he DID have better table manners! Dad had his usual 3 helpings and told the same jokes AGAIN whilst Sam and I tucked into the cheeses afterwards!OOPS!
Well George home today and U Pete arriving lunchtime so had better double up the duvets (it was freezing last night and still have the summer duvets on) and make U Pete's bed before I get a bit of shopping in.
Lots of love to you and my regards to Celine and everyone at Karuna Niwas. Hi Maddy!
